Ms. Youlanda Jones
Ms. Youlanda Jones was appointed President of the Tennessee College of Applied Technology – Covington / Ripley in 2015. She earned her Master of Arts in Liberal Studies degree with a concentration in Strategic Leadership in 2004, and her Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Business Management in 1991, all from The University of Memphis.
Before being appointed President of TCAT Covington / Ripley, Ms. Jones served as the Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Continuing Education at Dyersburg State Community College. Her experience as President includes serving as the chief administrative officer of the College(s) holding responsibility for all aspects of the campus administration, including academics, employment and accreditation standards. Ms. Jones leads the College(s) to an even higher level of academic achievement with a focus on access, student success, academic excellence and workforce development.
As the President of TCAT- Covington/Ripley, Ms. Jones takes pride in being the premiere provider of workforce development/training. Students are empowered to be the very best by displaying a high level of ethical behavior and by educating themselves for a successful transition into the workforce. Students are trained and prepared to meet the skills required for today’s high demand jobs.
