Full-Time Academic Student Support Associate

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Covington is accepting applications for a full-time Academic Student Support Associate.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of Technical Related Program, A.S. or B.S. preferred
  • Three years of experience working in a post-secondary institution preferred
  • Evidence of excellent communication and computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Possess organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Exceptional customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones, assist with walk-in prospective students desiring information about the campus, greeting visitors and other miscellaneous front office duties.
  • Maintain student records.
  • Process certificate, diploma, exits, enrollment verification and transcript requests.
  • Conduct research studies and other reports as assigned including the COE Annual Report, IPEDS, TBR Reports and other institutional reporting.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating Technology Foundations for each student.
  • Assist with registering and administrating the Nursing Entrance Testing (HESI Test).
  • Assist with coordinating student events and activities.
  • Serve as third-party agency point of contact; maintains records, coordinates with financial aid; assists with billing, and completes required reporting.
  • Other duties assigned by Student Services Coordinator, Vice-President and President.

Salary Range

Commensurate with qualifications and experience and according to salary guidelines established by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
